All indoor lodging shared and every building is different. Bring your bedding, gear, flashlights and comforts for summer camp-like outdoorsy-ness.

Are you fluent in Permaculture? Do you know your way around a stacking function? Why are edges valued design elements? Do you have a sit spot? How does pattern recognition inform our knowledge of a particular place?

Basic understanding of these and other Permaculture concepts are a prerequisite for attending this gathering. The completion of a Permaculture Design Certificate is recommended but not required. 

The ethics and design principles of Permaculture form the common ground of our gathering, providing a point of reference for convivial conversation and learning.

If you're interested and want to learn more check out Toby Hemenway's book "Gaia's Garden" cover to cover. You'll know enough to follow :)

Work Trade is full for the year and no scholarships are available. We hope next year, with another wonderful volunteer (maybe you?), to be able to rally donations and sponsorships for this. Also if you're interested in coming one day, Saturday is the day. Solo tickets for other days aren't an option in consideration for the flow of participants attending the whole event.

*Cancellation Policy:  Seattle Tilth is our parent organization, their cancellation policy is as follows: To change or cancel your registration, please notify the Education Team by phone (206) 633-0451 ext. 101 or email register@seattletilth.org 14 days prior to the class start date. Your full class fee can be refunded with a $20 deduction from your registration fee.  Requests for changes or cancellations received less than 14 days from the class start will not receive a refund.
